The City of Chengdu, China, is a thriving commercial city with 11 million people. It is the origination point for the Southern Silk Road, the bronze culture and the earliest paper currency. It is also famous for its brightly colored and delicate brocades and embroideries. The first emperor built his capital there. Today it has a brand new, five-level Galleria with 538,000 square feet of retail space in over 200 shops served by more than 1,000 parking spaces. This is the first international standard shopping mall to be built in Chengdu. This center has been built in the city’s Gaoxin District, the government and technology quarter and fastest growing area of Chengdu. DeShazo Group developed the functional parking design for the parking facility associated with this project.
