Cencor Realty Services retained the services of DeShazo Group to develop a design and obtain authorization for a proposed traffic signal at the intersection of Preston Road and the southern driveway of the Preston Valley Shopping Center.
Based upon the original feedback from the City of Dallas Department of Street Services, the staff outlined the following basic criteria: (1) Submit a favorable traffic signal warrant analysis report; and (2) Redesign the driveway approach to provide sufficient channelization.
DeShazo Group developed a driveway concept that met the design intent specified by the City and the preliminary results of the traffic signal warrant analysis indicated that one or more of the requisite traffic signal warrants would be satisfied.
