CBRE contracted DeShazo Group to conduct comprehensive traffic engineering services for a new retail development at Skillman Street and Northwest Highway in the Vickery Meadow area in Northeast Dallas.  This 40-acre, 500,000-square-foot retail center replaces a 1,100-unit apartment complex that previously occupied the site.

A traffic impact analysis was performed to determine the impact that the development would have on the surrounding thoroughfares in order for a zoning change to be implemented for the property. The firm also examined the access issues related to the Timbercreek site and performed a traffic signal warrant analysis to determine the potential need for a traffic signal at the Timbercreek Drive/Northwest Highway intersection.
