TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND DESIGN

Texas Tech Amarillo Project

Project Overview

DeShazo was retained in 2023 for designing and adding standard sheets for a pedestrian scramble diagonal crosswalk system as part of the Texas Woman’s University (TWU) Signal Design project at Brackenridge Hall in Denton, Texas. We developed construction plan sheets for traffic signal poles, detectors, conduit runs, wiring, and signal head types and locations. In addition, we prepared cost estimates for the traffic signal construction and inserted appropriate specifications for the diagonal crosswalk sheet.

📍Location: Denton, Texas – N Bell Avenue at Administration Drive
📑Scope: Traffic signal design, roadway safety improvements, and intersection planning
👤 Client: Texas Woman’s University
