ProjectDeShazo Group was retained by a coalition of major property owners along Motor Street in the Southwestern Medical District, Dallas to support planning for future roadway improvements in anticipation of significant private and institutional development. Two task forces were established to address the corridor in northern and southern segments.

🧭 Traffic & Parking Master Plan
1. Secured an upgrade and amendment to the City of Dallas Thoroughfare Plan.
2. Developed a conceptual roadway design through consensus with task force members.
3. Coordinated with TxDOT for future implementation.
🚦 Southern Segment Improvements
1. Coordinated local, regional, and federal funding sources to finance roadway expansion.
2. Planned upgrades to a six-lane boulevard with auxiliary lanes to enhance traffic capacity.
3. Integrated planning with regional transit agencies to accommodate existing and future rail infrastructure.
