HEATH THOROUGHFARE PLAN UPDATE
Community Planning / Heath, Texas DeShazo Group provided a thoroughfare update for the City of Heath, Texas. This effort included developing future traffic projections, design standards, roadway cross-sections and a Master Thoroughfare Plan. The current planning efforts of the City of Heath and the surrounding communities were reviewed and summarized. DeShazo developed future 'build-out' traffic projections and a Thoroughfare Plan to accommodate the identified traffic loads based upon the future Land Use Plan. This plan outlined the needed improvements of the existing roadways, the impacts of future annexations, the cross-sections for each roadway, the potential for pedestrian and hike/bike opportunities, and the proposed improvements needed to be provided by adjacent cities. |
