Project Overview

DeShazo Group developed a comprehensive mobility master plan for the Dallas Arts District, the largest contiguous urban arts district in the United States. Spanning 68 acres across 19 city blocks, the master plan addressed the complex and overlapping transportation needs of high-profile institutions while ensuring access, circulation, and parking kept pace with cultural growth.

2. Analyzed key intersections and unsignalized driveways on Routh Street, Ross Avenue, and freeway frontage roads
3. Recommended traffic mitigation measures to ensure safe and efficient site access and urban mobility

1. Determined that, at build-out, existing street infrastructure would remain functional with future widening of Routh Street enhancing capacity
2. Identified areas of operational delay, but concluded traffic signals were not warranted
