Project Overview
As the Lubbock campus expanded, Texas Tech HSC sought a comprehensive evaluation of its campus traffic and pedestrian environment. DeShazo Group was engaged to assess key access points, internal site circulation, wayfinding, and pedestrian infrastructure to improve safety and operational efficiency across campus.

🚦 Traffic Access & Circulation Improvements
1. Assessed vehicular access points and internal flow to reduce congestion
2. Identified deficient traffic areas and proposed strategic road extensions
3. Recommended solutions to improve vehicle routing and reduce cut-through traffic
🚸 Pedestrian Safety & Walkability Enhancements
1. Evaluated existing pedestrian networks and connectivity across campus
2. Proposed new pedestrian crossings, bump-outs, and ADA-compliant access points
3. Improved walkability between backside parking lots and main campus buildings
