CHRIST CHAPEL BIBLE CHURCH
Religious / Fort Worth, Texas DeShazo Group, Inc., reviewed site expansion plan for the Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas. The church had plans for a 1,000-seat sanctuary in 2006 and a 1,500-seat sanctuary in 2008. Phasing of the planned expansions were considered and parking demand accommodations on the existing parking lots were reviewed. Recommendations relative to the scheduling of church services were made in an effort to minimize traffic conflicts on the campus. The best location for parking areas was determined in order to provide optimal ingress and egress maneuvers for the campus. The Church’s goal was to provide adequate parking on the church lots and mitigate the inconvenience to surrounding residents caused by on-street parking. Drop-off and pick-up points on the campus were examined and recommendations made to minimize pedestrian interfacing with the Montgomery Street Drive/ Northwest Highway intersection. |
