UT DALLAS GARAGE
Parking Design / Richardson, Texas DeShazo Group provided three conceptual designs for a parking garage on the University of Texas-Dallas campus in Richardson, Texas. The firm's conceptual designs addressed the parking supply goals of the University and included the elements of: parking efficiency; ingress/egress, ramps, and internal circulation systems; parking geometry; and pedestrian interface, circulation and access. Upon selection of the preferred schematic parking design, DeShazo Group developed the functional design which included our analysis results, ADA Standards, parking layout (relationship between stall width, bay width, and parking aisle), interface between the parking garage and the campus circulation system, wayfinding, safety, and sight distance/visibility issues. DeShazo then prepared construction drawings for the final parking design which included the striping and marking plan and details, and the signage plan and details in coordination with the project's professional design team. We then developed the conceptual and final plans for the parking management/control system. |
