Higher Education / Wichita Falls, Texas DeShazo Group was retained by Midwestern State University to study the existing parking demands at its main campus in Wichita Falls and assist the University by providing guidance for future campus planning. The services included review of historic parking data collected by the university police. DeShazo also conducted personal interviews and developed and administered a detailed web survey of faculty, staff, and commuter and resident students to ascertain their parking habits and expectations. The study was conducted concurrent with an internal master plan update being prepared by the campus architect. DeShazo assisted the University in evaluating the merits of new parking management strategies as well as the potential to construct the first, on-campus parking structure. |
