SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIVERSITY RESIDENTIAL COMMONS
Higher Education / University Park, Texas DeShazo Group provided traffic, transportation, and parking consulting services in the master plan phase of the 1,250-bed Residential Commons development on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. The constrained site required a high-density design scheme. At the outset of the project, DeShazo assisted SMU and the design team in reconfiguring the surrounding roadway network to create a contiguous development parcel by integrating the project site with the existing developments. DeShazo also prepared the conceptual and detailed design of an 800+-space parking garage to serve the project and campus. |
