It is part of the University of Texas System. UT Health San Antonio is the largest health sciences university in South Texas. DeShazo conducted a traffic access and traffic circulation system analysis for the proposed Inpatient Facility and Parking Garage for UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. The project is planned to be built in two phases. The first phase of the project will have 180 Beds Hospital and when fully built by 2028 the development will have 400 beds hospital and 24,153 SF of Dental/Medical Building. The UT Health Science Center requested a traffic study to be performed on the proposed project to determine if any widening of the adjacent streets is needed based on the future projected traffic. The scope of the study also included determining any traffic operational issues that may occur in future at the proposed driveways connected to the adjacent streets. This study analyzed the following peak hour periods that are considered the most critical conditions on the public roadway system related to the proposed Project. The proposed project is planned to be fully constructed by 2028. |
